1 Very rare and early VAN BRIGGLE two-color vase with sloping shoulder, decorated with stylized iris blossoms and leaves in an unusual iridescent copper and eggplant glaze. We have seen three other examples with this glazing, all dated 1904. We assume these were from a single experimental firing, with Lot 1 sharing that date. Small chip to rim and base from manufacture. 23 Exceptional, rare and large D'ARCY GAW for DIRK VAN ERP hammered copper table lamp with four sockets, extremely unusual four-panel flaring mica shade with bulbous cap and cupped rim, supported by four armatures riveted to a tacked-on shoulder, with bullet-shaped base. Excellent original patina, minor dent removed, repair to two panels (with minor light bulb marks), re-wired, missing one interior shade clip, missing interior cap. Excellent original finish, minor delamination to bezel on left side of face, crack to front key, minor paint loss on hour markers, some delamination and veneer loss to back panel, new key for winding. 31 Fine and rare CHARLES ROHLFS double pedestal desk, 1902, with four drawers to one side and bookshelf/cabinet to the other, with strap hinges, rough-sawn panels, and carved R medallion. Both pieces have an excellent original black finish with light overcoat, and original green interior. Missing support for cabinet shelf and several rivet heads, some wear around feet of chair.
