Charles Sucsan was born in Paris in 1932 to Hungarian parents. A ceramist, sculptor, and painter, he is known for his large-scale public murals and decorative ceramic objects created throughout the 1960s and 70s. One of his lamps is included in the collection of the Musée du Haut-Richelieu in Quebec.
