The Italian jeweler Giorgio Facchini gained his following designing sculptural and kinetic jewels. In 1971, his kinetic jewels won first prize at the 6th Biennale d'Arte del Metallo in Gubbio. Movement continues to be important in his work and he walks the lines of artist jeweler and fine jeweler adeptly. This pair of earrings swings with ease for an elegant evening look, yet can also be adapted to remove the drop and be worn as an earclip by day.
