Solange Azagury-Partridge’s first foray into jewelry design was her own engagement ring. With a flair for non-traditional jewels, friends quickly noticed the natural unfaceted diamond and gold ring and asked her to design for them as well. She began designing and launched her business with a small shop in London. Soon she was tapped to design jewels for the prestigious French maison Boucheron, where she was Creative Director from 2001 to 2004. 

The jewels of Solange push boundaries and are thought-provoking and refreshingly contemporary, all while paying homage to historic traditions in jewelry design and manufacturing. She uses colored gems to tell a story and create imagery. Her now iconic Hotlips ring was born from her habit of sealing her letters with a kiss, leaving a trace of lipstick. The rings become so popular that they spun off into their own brand.

Today, Solange jewelry has gone far beyond Hotlips, yet many of her jewels continue to be sexy, romantic, and provocative, all in a range of her signature bright colors. Her Scribbles collection explores psychedelic gems and ceramic plate combinations and Poptails features larger gems in “party” settings. The boutique interiors of Solange Azagury-Partridge carry forth her design sensibility and are colorfully playful and seductive gem boxes in their own right.
