Bent Gabrielsen Pedersen was trained at the Danish College of Jewellery and Silversmithing. He has had a prolific career, and in the 1950s his distinctive elliptical and boomerang shapes made their appearance. While he created his own pieces, he also was the creative director for many years under Hans Hansen and designed for Georg Jensen. In the 1960s he dropped the Pederson from his signature and was known only as Bent Gabrielson.
