I believe that when you remove details or complications, it can give the viewer a more straightforward understanding of what the object is, what the idea is. It’s not dissimilar to cartoons. An anvil in a road runner cartoon is simple so that there’s no confusing what it is and what it’s going to be used for. I love that straightforward impact.
