I use the figure as a sort of playground. I rearticulate it, reanimate it, and, in unlikely ways, I inhabit it. I work from the inside out, as the body is experienced rather than looked at. The distortions I'm depicting are a psychological vehicle....I'm interested in representing clusters of feelings: fleeting, provisional, emerging, fading and peripheral.
