Bamboo Master

Japanese weaver Jin Morigami is one of the most talented and celebrated bamboo artists of his generation. He is a sculptor as well as a designer, his works deftly blurring the borders between art, craft, and design. Morigami has exhibited around the world and his creations are highly coveted by discerning collectors. 

When I start a project, I have a rough idea in mind, but it really is a joint venture between the bamboo and myself. It could be a friendly partnership, or it could be a battle.
