The ‘Meenakari Kimono’ earrings...encapsulate the evolution of my design and inspiration beautifully, the form directly inspired from this architecture found in Jaipur, inside the internal courtyard at the home of Faith and John Singh, founders of Anokhi, a place where I spent many weeks drawing, thinking, dreaming... The patterns are drawn from kimonos, exploring the way in which Japanese aesthetics tends to contain pattern inside the circle, rendering the containment in three dimensions.⁠
