The original owner of the present work, Alice T. Miner (1863-1930), was a pioneer of the colonial revival movement and wife of the railroad industrialist William H. Miner. Her legacy lives on in the Alice T. Miner Museum in Chazy, New York.
Lamp features a Library Standard Cushion base with tear design.
