Born the son of a German watchmaker, he went on to craft and sell jewelry for retailers such as Tiffany & Co. before founding his own company in Philadelphia. He built his career on creating custom pieces for wealthy clients in the city, and his appointments were so coveted that client referrals were a necessity.

Craig Drake’s legacy endures through his distinctive designs, which continue to inspire appreciation and admiration, as well as the work of his son, Craiger Drake, who owns his own jewelry company, Craiger Drake Designs.
